HHC (now Saaf) - It stands for Hand Hygiene Compliance. Its aim is to help doctors and hospitals ensure that correct hygiene protocols are followed when required. The system consists of a Bluetooth beacon which is a transmitting device and a mobile app that acts as a listening device. No connection/pairing takes place and there is no exchange of data between the devices. Only the unique beacons (identified by specific UUID) will be recognized by the app. Thats all there is to it. The app is supposed to be non-intrusive and run in the background. It required location and Bluetooth access to detect the beacons.
